Saturday, December 10, 2011, will be the last full lunar eclipse until April of 2014. This spectacle is said to last for over three hours and will begin at 4:45 AM Pacific Standard Time. Rather than the moon being completely darkened by Earth’s shadow it will change in color, becoming red - this is expected to occur just after 6 AM Pacific Time.
