Vogue Russia

December 2010

During this past London Fashion Week I had the pleasure of shooting Vogue Russia. This was an exhaustingly long, yet exciting day of work. I started out my morning walking the catwalk for Maria Grachvogel - backstage before sun up having hair and makeup done, and as runway shows go, it ran late and as soon as it ended i jetted off to the No. 11 London Cadogan Gardens Hotel. It was a long day, but everyone was extremely professional and it was a pleasure working with them all and I can only hope to see them again in the future.

The best part of this day was my best friend flew in to visit me from New York!

How Bazaar

December 2010 Issue; Harper’s Bazaar UK

On my recent trip to London, one of the firstshoots I did was a beauty editorial for Harpers Bazaar UK. It has just come out now for their Holiday issue. The cosmetics were all provided by Dior and are part of their most recent holiday collection and the makeup was done by Dior’s top artist Shane Paish - who also happens to be Charlize Theron’s personal makeup artist! I hope that you enjoyed the little portion of live-streaming from the fashion shoot. To answer your previous question, acting requires and entirely different set of skills from modeling. I truly love doing both. In the future you should expect to see much more on both the fashion and film fronts.

A Single Man

Marie Claire UK, December 2010

The theme for this editorial was based on Tom Ford’s ‘A Single Man.’ The fashion (Dolce, Donna Karen and Cavalli) and the diamond jewels were the perfect finishing touches for the story’s aesthetic. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with one of London’s hottest young actors, Benedict Cumberbatch and become friends. I adore him. He’s is an incredibly talented, and very sweet individual. This fashion spread was photographed at a brownstone in London, and provided the perfect environment for the feel of this shoot. I hope you enjoy the spread and pick up your own copy of the magazine!
